For this project CDS installed approximately 3,000m of 800mm OD PE pipe in liquefied sands in Christchurch. The installations include drill shots ranging from 110m to 625m in length under open fields, roundabouts and main roads. This also included a 250m drill shot under the environmentally sensitive Avon River. CDS was able to successfully manage the changing and challenging ground conditions by using carefully managed mud programmes.
