CDS was contracted to install 400m of 400mm Ø and 450mm Ø PE pipework by pipebursting the existing 300mm diameter stormwater pipe running under Franklin Road in downtown Auckland. The project was completed in 3 separate drill shots with a largest single drill shot of 180m. CDS completed these drill shots using its DitchWitch® JT8020 drill and bursting tooling that was specifically modified for this project.
